This was the 3rd in a series of Agro Policy Performance Barometer (APPB) reports that the Ghana Trade and Livelihood Coalition (GTLC) has published in the last 3 years. This report is focused on the role of small scale agriculture in sustainable development amidst its recent global resurgence in the development policy agenda after decades of neglect. The report focus on addressing whether it is a mere political talk or are there real efforts being made to target investment to small scale agriculture productivity, incomes and livelihood improvement. Data collection and analysis in regards to 2 crops- rice and tomato, provide a window through which the GTLC assessed the level of commitment that government is putting to invest in small scale agriculture and ensuring that the investment transforms productivity in the sector. We processed the data and compiled the first draft of the report.
